I'd always wanted cherries in my yard even though it would be hard to grow a tree here. But until this year, I didn't realize I already had one of the closest things Philippine native species have to offer. This is the first time it bore fruit and there's a lot.

It's not narra and it's recycled from a botched project from earlier. But it's a lot more solid than the one that came with the table.

Retiring the last fluorescent lights in the house from chandelier thst my son loves to turn on. I remember putting these on myself long before I got married. It's possible one of these bulbs is the culprit. These things can be unpredictable when they go bad. Or maybe it's the whole chandelier. If only replacing it was convenient. 😄

The matte finish for this table top turned out pretty good. It doesn't even look like it needs flat sanding and polishing. I think I'll be ok doing this on a guitar.
